A noble from the Karakkin trade baronies. Left a cushy life at home in favor of adventure and finding something to keep him entertained. Said something usually being violence or bloodshed. Kind and personable on the outside but it's a front to hide how cunning and manipulative he is. His true self mostly shows in battle, where he fights with an uncharacteristic glee. Has nihilistic and somewhat hedonistic views on life, and is something of an adrenaline junkie.

Naturally gifted at athletics and academics, on top of beig rich, Elias never felt challenged by anything in life which is why he seeks out combat as way of feeling thrill and actual consequences for failure. Of course, he's not a stranger to violence outside of the cockpit either, he's just as willing to throw hands with people face to face. He looks down on most other people despite his efforts to maintain an affable persona, but a small, teeny tiny part of him envies most peoples ability to form genuine connections to one another.

Thoughts on my other lancer pilots

Astrid: Thinks she's kind of boring. Wants to crush her spirit by either breaking her faith in union or having her turn her gun on an innocent. Hopes she gives him a good fight one day.

Jack: Elias thinks jack is funny. Jack may be trying his best to live freely but all elias sees is a cornered animal. Wants to show jack how little control he has over his own life, maybe tries to have jack run jobs or work for him to achieve this.  

Priya: Priya scares elias. he likes this about her. as obsessed as she is about love he cant figure out a way to use it against her. she sees through all his lies and its intriguing if infuriating. he admires the amount of destruction her love ushers.

Siegfried: Almost more boring than astrid because of how easy it is to control him. The most fun he gets out of Siegfried comes from when he gets to show off and steal the attention and glory siegfried constantly craves, but wouldn't mind fighting Siegfried just to "put him in his place."
