an elegant, mother-like spirit, afterglow has been admitted as one of the best guidance spirit in the realm. she has minimal issues, always resolving them to the best of her abilities, though her own troubling thoughts can cloud her judgement and prevent further progress with whomever she is guiding. for this, she may become a burden, though she likes to keep her own feelings to herself. technically, she's not even supposed to feel anything anymore because she is dead, but that is what makes her so unique - she's relatable and understanding, and knows what it feels like to be in a certain situations.
afterglow is knowledable and has a way with her words that are comforting. she's honest and trustworthy, and will be your lifelong companion. her entire purpose is to guide others, and she does her job well - with care, actually, and she has never been told she's bad at her job. however, seeing afterglow as someone doing a job versus a friend is a weird bridge. her job is to guide, and within her species' rules, it states that you are not allowed to get attached to whomever you're assigned to. but how else is she supposed to help you?
