PERSONALITY
Nilam is a calm and happy boy, he is mostly on a good mood and pretty exited about new things, but he knows to keep it down and not make a scene no matter how jumpy he would feel, he doesn't seem to take his job too seriously, but everyone can see that he has great passion to it, which insures that he will do his job to the fullest.
Nilam is often in his group named the "stupid blonde" due his limited understanding of many things, he does not understand metaphors at all, which also includes the "stupid blonde" one, seeing that it confuses Nilam, since he is not a blonde, he takes things literally and gets easily confused and troubled since it looks like to him that people have some extremely weird habits, he is gullible and easy to trick, which usually leads to his friends and co-workers joking around with her and getting a giggle out of Nilams frustration when he doesn't understand what was so funny.
He is really social and loves to go out for drinks and so on with the rest of his buddies, he never has much luck with girls, since he cannot flirt to save his life, this doesn't seem to bother him tho, and going out is just for the sake of drinking and having some fun.

Habits:
- Sleeps a bit restlessly, mostly because he would like his room to be cold but he wouldn't want to freeze his plants that he has in his room.
- Might start to laugh randomly because he finally got a joke that was told few days ago.
- Ruffles his hair before leaving his room in hopes that it would make them not leave a trail of glowing dust as much, it doesn't work.
- He usually has a confused expression on his face..
- Tends to follow Decet around.
- Doesn't talk much in general, but wont shut up about plants if asked.

+ Plants, bugs, pretty much everything that is connected to the ground.
+ Trying new drinks.
+ Spicy foods, he usually has his eyes tearing since its too spicy, but he still wants to eat it just cos it's something new.
+ Animals, if it's one he can go pet, he will be entertained for a long time just giving them bellyrubs and whatever.

STORY
A newbie scientist on the ship, he works with a vulcan Decet, who is his elder, and he is usually seen walking around with him.

Decet: His elder and pretty much his best friend, Decet usually comes to hang out with Nilam even on freetimes, he doesn't really know why he would want to spend time with him, but is happy anyway, since he respects Decet a great deal and he is pretty much the only one he can talk nonstop about plants with and learn more things he didn't know before, he also tries to explane human habits to him.
