MAJOR SPOILERS FOR BOTH TWEWY GAMES!

Pre TWEWY:
Youta died in an elevator accident and woke up as a player in Shibuya. His payment was his status as a Galifreyian (he became human and couldn't regenerate). He partnered up with Sho and they won the Shibuya Reaper's game. Sho opted to become a reaper whereas Youta returned to the RG. However Youta never got his payment back for unknown reasons and remained human.

During TWEWY:
While Sho was following Joshua in the RG he ran into Youta again. Youta, bored with the RG and mundane life, offered to help Sho with is goals. Sho agreed and managed to calculate how to bring living people into the UG. With this Youta was able to enter the UG with Sho's help.

Youta actively annoyed Neku and crew with false info and dead ends. He didn't want Joshua to destroy Shibuya and therefore tried to assist Sho and hinder Neku however he could.

When Sho fought Neku and Joshua on Day 7 in Week 2, Youta witnessed the fight from the sidelines. Before he used his Level i Flare, Sho forced Youta back into the RG. Not being able to return to the UG by himself Youta went to WildKat and begged Hanekoma to help him return to the UG and find Sho. Hanekoma informed him that Sho had died after forcing Youta back into the RG but he had a plan to revive him using the Taboo Refinery sigil. Youta voulanteered to assist however he could.

During Week 3 Sho refused to allow Youta to return to the UG, not wanting to be distracted and believing the UG would be destroyed if he failed. At the end of Week 3 Hanekoma told Youta of Sho's death at Joshua's hands. After meeting up with Neku and the others and hearing what had occured, Youta lashed out at Neku for not shooting Joshua when he had the chance given the trauma he put them all through.

Between TWEWY and Neo: TWEWY:
Youta kept in contact with Beat as they regularly met up for skate sessions. After the events in A New Day, when Beat told Youta of Neku's death at Coco's hands, and Joshua being too late to save Neku, Youta laughed at the irony (which earned him a punch to the face and no replies for a month from Beat).

2 years later Youta died again, this time in Shinjuku, after being pushed falling from a building. He won the Shinjuku Reaper's game and opted to become a reaper. He thought he might be able to investigate his own death, as he suspected the Shinjuku Reapers were involved, and maybe find a way to revive Sho again. He quickly became a Harrier Reaper in the following 2 weeks.

Youta moved to Shibuya with the other Shinjuku Reapers when Shinjuku was destroyed. He never trusted the Shinjuku Reapers and quickly found himself hanging around with the Shibuya Reapers instead. He trusted the Shibuya Reapers more as they usually kept their word and stuck to established rules, whereas the Shinjuku Reapers lied and cheated (proven when they took over Shibuya). Youta would occasionally engage in banter with Shoka but did not speak to the other Shinjuku Reapers unless forced to.

It was during this time Youta established a good relationship with Kariya and Yashiro given their mutual dislike of Joshua and the Shinjuku Reapers. They took him in as a 'little brother'. Youta begun displaying his Reaper wings as an act of rebelliance against the Shinjuku Reapers and further aligning himself with the Shibuya Reapers (ever notice how the Shinjuku Reapers never display their wings but the Shibuya Reapers do?) This annoyed Miyakaze but he figured it would piss Youta off more if he didn't acknowledge the wings, which was correct.

Youta actively avoided Coco as she 'weirded him out with the cutesy act' and her voice got on his nerves. Coco never bothered to tell Youta that she revived Sho because she thought she could use it to her advantage later.

During Neo: TWEWY:
At the start of the game Youta was still a Shinjuku Harrier reaper. On Day 3 of Week 1, while annoying the Wicked Twisters, Sho showed up, punched Youta in the face and stormed off. It is later learned this was because Youta died again and became a reaper after all the effort they put in during their first reaper game to bring Youta back to life.

During the week Youta make amends with Sho, explaining he was murdered. He assisted the Wicked Twisters with their missions covertly wanting them to win. At the end of Week 1 when Sho left the team, Youta met with him. Sho then finally filled Youta in about the 'bird/trash' noise created when Rindo traveled back in time and Sho's plan to utilise their power. While Youta was not a big fan of this idea, Sho was certain with some more testing he would be able to control their power and was determined to make it happen, with or without Youta's help. Youta reluctantly agreed to assist Sho, more so to be there if anything went wrong.

Youta chcked in with the Wicked Twisters regularly throughout Week 2, playfully teasing them and catching up with Beat but also subtly giving tips, intel and advice. On Day 7 of Week 2, he was in the middle of trying to help the Wicked Twisters improve their Groove Sync Rate before they fought the Ruinbringers. Shoki leaked the fact to Shiba and Kamachi and Shiba summoned Youta to him. Shiba gave Youta an ultimatum; either 'leak' false information to the Wicked Twisters that would probably lead to them losing, or be stripped of his Reaper status, and become a player.

Youta refused to help Shiba and in fact welcomed becoming a player, sick of the manipulation and lies of the Shinjuku Reapers. He joined the Wicked Twisters, hoping to not only gather more bird/trash noise for Sho but also potentially win the game and return to the RG. Needless to say Kariya and Yashiro weren't exactly thrilled by this development. Youta joked to Shoki that he only became a player because it seemed the 'in thing' to do now since she had become a player too.

Youta's unique psychic power was healing, similar to his old Galifreyan ability before it was stripped as payment. In order to induce healing however he needed to be injured. Excessive use of the ability tired him out quickly and he needed time to recover.

When Shiba revealed himself as the leader of the Ruin Bringers and his plan to destroy Shibuya, he also affirmed Youta's suspicions and confirmed he pushed Youta to his death while in the RG looking for Neku.

Youta lashed out at Shoki, blaming her for knowing Shiba's plan to destroy Shibuya for over 7 months, but had said nothing. Youta wanted to fight Shoki then and there but told her she was lucky they would need all the help they could get in the coming week. However he also told her if she stepped so much as one toe out of line, Youta wouldn't hesitate to erase her. He then stormed off to vent to Sho.

During the following days Youta was a lot colder to the group, given how they welcomed Shoki so easily. Youta became very detached and didn't contribute to conversations unless absolutely required. His negative emotions drew more noise to the group, which Youta welcomed as a way to let off steam.

However, when Kamachi is possessed by noise and subsequently erased, Youta eased up on Shoki and even tried to console her, explaining he too knew how painful it was to see someone you care about lose their mind to noise. After this he slowly started acting normal again.

The following day when Kanon gets possessed and erased, Youta tried to comfort Fret but Fret yelled at Youta and vented his frustrations of the whole situation at him. Youta jokingly admited he probably deserved it given his treatment of Shoka in the week prior. Youta promiced Fret if he could find a way to bring Kanon back with them when they won, he would. He told Fret of Rhyme, who they all thought was erased, and how she managed to hold on and returned to the RG. Youta reminded Fret Kanon was tough and if anyone could hold out it would be her. (Youta planned to ask Sho to bring Kanon back when he became conductor, if it was possible)

During Sho's possession, Youta tried to reason with him but couldn't get through to him and was hurt when Sho attacked he group. When Sho was defeated, Youta confirmed with Neku that he will join the Wicked Twisters in Youta's place. Youta then left the team, helped Sho retreat and healed them both. On the final day Youta fought the noise alongside Sho to buy the Wicked Twisters more time.

At the end of the game Youta was returned to life along with Shoka. However he was brought back fully this time, as a Galifreyian, enabling him his previously lost abilities. Youta, not sure whether Sho made it to an alternate dimention as he planned (Another Day secret ending), came to terms with the fact that either way he can not know for sure and likely wouldn't see Sho ever again.

Post Neo: TWEWY:
Youta maintained contact with most of the crew and hung out with them regularly, continuing residing in Tokyo. He begun crashing random classes at Nagi's university out of boredom.

Also due to boredom, and diminishing funds, Youta took up freelance work as a host at a variety of Host Clubs and Snack Bars in the Kabukichō and Ikebukuro districts. His ability to swoon both male and female clients, along with his striking eyes and hair, leave him with a few loyal clients who regularly seek him out.

Youta frequently sneaks Nagi, Beat, Neku and Shiki into bars and clubs through the connections he makes at work despite them being under the legal drinking age of 20 (he's a bad influence to be honest).
