“Fire Breath”: Anytime he opens his mouth, flames billow out. Whenever his mouth is closed or he tries to smother the flames, smoke comes from his nose and sometimes out of his mouth.

As a young child, Cole was able to control his fire and decide when to use it or not; but due it had an unfortunate side effect when he grew older. As he aged, he became unable to control when the fire comes out, resulting in anytime he’d open his mouth, flames would shoot out. He’s not equipped with a fire proof gas mask, allowing him to talk and breathe without injuring himself or anyone else. The mask smothers the flames coming out, which in turn exits the mask as smoke.
