Tanner

Tanner is mute, he is missing his tongue. He is the brother of Hunter and an ex-slave that now works with the rebellion. He speaks in sign language to make up for his lack of a tongue. 

Tanner is always harder to deal with than Hunter, especially when Hunter's not around to translate. Usually those that are okay with his brother are tolerable for him- but it will take time to warm up. When he could speak he spoke a lot- so you might find him signing even when he knows that no one else does. He uses this to his advantage, not afraid to call someone out. You gain his respect if you sign an insult to him. It's very specific dont question it- he likes when others have the guts to call him out.

Like his brother, Tanner is smart but in a different way. He takes in things around him, paying attention to every little detail and files it away in his brain. Sometimes though he's so focused on details he misses crucial simple things right in front of him. But he tries. Tanner has adhd and tends to fidget, but will also heavily hyperfixate. When he is hyperfixating it will take quite a few tries to grab his attention

Tanner is very awkward in emotional situations. He doesn't quite know to comfort unless you're Hunter. Not even physically- he might awkwardly pat you on the back.
