Nattō (can also be spelled as Nattou) is a chestnut horse that's a fan of the idea of jockeys, racehorses and ban'ei horses. He is a bit of a workhorse himself who only knows work & couldn't dare to compete with fast running race horses, hence his new fascination with Ban'ei racing which doesn't focus on speed but on strength & seems fun!
That said, he dresses with a bright colored shirt as a nod to Jockey's silks, underneath his work shawl & collar.

Despite being named Nattō/納豆 he is not at all fond of the food and thinks it's gross.
