Personality: Cassiel can be serious when the situation demands it...even a bit blunt. Unfortunitly he isn't good with handling emotion situations and usually coming off as awkward...or sometimes even insensitive. Even when he loses his temper Cassiel is naturally calm and level-headed but does not try to hide his frustrations in the way he speeks. He never lashes out violently, actually seeing such actions as barbaric even for a vampire and actively works to keep his calm in situations when his Drow features are rudely commented on. Dispite all this he is a caring man, letting his serious demeanor drop around those he cares about and trusts. He becomes bright and chearful as well as easily flustered. Cassiel enjoys chatting about the years he has lived through and, unlike many vampires, prides himself on never once wishing death upon himself (though in reality this is a lie he tells himself to force him to believe it...there has been a handful of times where he had almost thrown himself at a hunter).

About: Even before his transformation Cassiel was always one to give other races respect dispite the distaste he himself would recive from others for being a Drow. unfortunately this would only grow worse once he was changed, leading him to enter a extended period of seclusion. It took well over a hundred years for him to step back into the world, heitant to trust others yet willing to see the best even when not always met with welcoming looks. It was only after over two hundred years of learning to blend in and live amongst others did he learn of a group called the Vampiric Council, a group of older vampires who's goal was to assist those wishing to live amongst living groups of people and provide support for newer or struggling vampires. The Council is also responsible for running the blood drives which acts as a non-violent way for vampires to feed if they are not wanting animal supplements. They are also responsible for policing the rate and rules of changing to prevent an onslaught of young or mutated vampires. Cassiel himself currently holds the position of the head of human relations, which works to better the relations between humans and vampires while also making sure to keep hunters or rogue vampires down (each relations division focuses on one race because of the wide variety of cultures that must be understood to successfully integrate other vampires back into these societies).
