Profile
Ratkit was born with his brother Rumblekit to his parents Mothburr and Rottingcreek. Their little family didn't last long as they lived deep in an abandoned mine with active explosives still around. The kits accidently set one off, killing Mothburr and Rumblekit while injuring his father greatly. Surprisingly Ratkit was unharmed but this event led to a lot of abuse and hate from his father. Eventually as Ratkit hit 6 moons Rottingcreek was murdered by another cat and most cats left in the abandoned mines left due to earthquakes- Ratkit now becoming Ratpaw was one of them.
Life on the surface was hard to adjust to and due to everything he’d experienced, Ratpaw often got into fights with other apprentices and wasnt well liked with most. It was hard to find something to keep his mind off things but one cat he found comfort in was another apprentice called Swiftpaw! The two grew up together and became mates when they were 30 moons old- looking foward to a long life together.
When Swiftbird expected to have kits, he thought he could have the loving family he always wanted- vowing to be the best dad that he never had. But death followed Ratstorm like a curse and both his mate and two kits, Featherkit and Lightkit died. Ratstorm was left numb for a very long time and wished to join his family in Starclan too. Luckily Ratstorm found new meaning in life through living for kids he adopted as well as the close friends he’d picked up along his journey.

- Ratstorm is mostly passive, though his younger side slips through often and he can snap and get aggressive when those he cares about are in danger. He’s always quick to apologize if he steps out of line.
- Is often just depressed and sad in life but tries to make a huge effort to never bring thoes around him down too.
- Has two teeth that stick out and is bigger than most cats.
- Is often given the nickname "Ratdad"
- His story is from a mix of the two roleplays he's been in!! Both stories/versions of himself smushed together. The relationships between them all can all be canon too :3

Growing up he always blammed himself for the abuse he got. Only after Rottingcreeks death did Ratkit realize his father was just a monster.
Swiftbird will ALWAYS be his ultimate love and nothing will ever change that. The hole left in his heart from her death will never be repaired, but now Ratstorm hopes he can live a life she would be proud of him for.
Snakeriver is one of the kits Ratstorm adopted!! He's super close to her and loves her as if she was his own blood daughter. He’d do anything to keep her safe and is always there as a shoulder to try on when she ever needs him.
