Zitek is the protagonist of the story "Heart of the Forest". He's a 12 years old kid who gets lost in the magical forest one day, where he mets Vidock – a deity. They decide to take care of him, protecting him from the evil spirits, and together they venture throught the woods.

Before getting lost, Zitek lived in an orphanage; the boy is illiterate, but he can draw really well – that's what he does to record his adventures with Vidock, even if they said he can't show it to anyone.

Despite his calm nature, Zitek likes adventures and knows many facts about bugs! He often played outside with his fellow housemates. He's can be a little moody sometimes.
