Uhhh species from a dream I had!

The orbs in their chests are essentially their life force so if they are removed they will die, although it is possible to replace the orb with some other type of energy source if you're fast enough

Their primary colour will always be black, however their secondary colour varies from member to member. Their 'mask' will always be a very pastel or washed out version of their secondary colour. It is rare for a seeker to have no markings on their body (the one referenced here doesn't have any because I'm lazy)

As they are all sexless, Seeker genders are very fluid, some choose one set and stick to it, some choose several, some change day to day, and some simply do not care what they are referred to as. When it comes to procreating, partners will decide with each other who will carry the child
