Wirepelt

History
KithoodWirekit was born along with his sisters Shellkit and Woolkit. The three were born to Dustfur and Snailshade. All were born in the RatClan camp during newleaf. During the season the kits thrived, with plentiful food and being able to sleep in the newleaf sun.
All the while learning the warrior code. Wirekit, Woolkit and Shellkit wanted nothing more than to become great warriors.
Often playing games and practising "Fighting" moves.

ApprenticeshipBy the time the kits became 6 moons old, Wirepaw was given Heronstalker to be apprenticed by. He was an older tom. Wirekit was happy to have been given such a wise tom to teach him everything about being a warrior. Although throughout this time, Wirepaw discovered he was less of a fighter, unlike his sister Woolpaw. And was more of a Hunter.
His other sister Shellpaw was more of a cat who was able to come up with the finest tactics. Although she often had a sense of wanting to go do other things. Rather than do her jobs as an apprentice.
At times Shellpaw would work hard to try and get her siblings to go off and avoid their duties. Although Woolpaw, quite sternly told Shellpaw to stop. That Both herself and Wirepaw wanted to become warriors, and if Shellpaw wanted to stay and avoid her duties, then she wasn't taking Wirepaw and Woolpaw down with her.
Although Wirepaw stayed neutral to this, and now often is in the middle of his two sisters fighting.

Warriorhood Finally as they finished their training. Wirepaw earned the name Wirepelt and Woolpaw earned the name Wooltail. Although Shellpaw was held back due to her unfinished training.
Wooltail often teased her sister and telling her "I told you so" the constant bickering of the two sisters often bothered Wirepelt. Although He felt sorry for Shellpaw. Despite her constant flirting with other toms, he saw that she should become a warrior just like her siblings. So he went out of his way to help Shellpaw.
After a short while it was time for Shellpaw to earn her warrior name. Earning the name Shellfoot. She thanked her brother for helping her, and soon went back to flirting with toms.
Although now Wirepelt lives his days in RatClan along with his sisters who still can't seem to get along.

Twolegs stormed the Gathering, leaving cats bewildered when they couldn't go back. Cats were injured and stolen from their clan mates. The leaders saught to starclan, and there they received a prophecy. This prophecy had cats leave to the next town over to bring a cat, by the name of Puzzle, now Darkstep, to help the clans. Helping them by teaching them about traps, and making a new rank. Trapmasters.

Wirepelt over time began to grow an attraction to a molly, that molly in question was Honeyblossom. Although, despite his best efforts, it seemed that the molly's heart was stolen by none other than Pelicancall. Wirepelt's bestfriend and pseudo brother. This making the situation for Wirepelt really awkward.

Wirepelt wasn't around when Fawnstar had died. He was out on patrol when the clan found out. The tom didn't find out till much later that the leader had died, leaving behind her mate and kits. Wirepelt goes out of his way to help out and be there for Lightpelt if he can.

As much as Wirepelt is a chatty tom, he has found solace in speaking to Snarlmaw. A cat and now deputy of Ratclan. He was a cat of few words, but he's rather interesting to talk to.

While on a dawn patrol, Honeyblossom, Pelicancall and Snarlmaw. Throughout the patrol it was tense that was till the scent of fox came upon the cats. Climbing the steps up onto a twoleg building all hell broke lose. Honeyblossom burst out yelling at Wirepelt, and Wirepelt retorted, telling his true feelings. Causing Pelicancall to run and fight a fox. Wirepelt chasing after him.

Wirepelt and Rustedheart went for a hunt on the other side of the bridge, on their way back they were attacked by some dogs, severely injuring the cats. Wirepelt losing his front leg with it being torn. Wirepelt passed out, and didn't wake up till he was back in camp.

It wasn't long after the tom lost his leg, he was taken away by twolegs, and while they continued to treat his injuries, he was also placed in a animal control facility. Through this time he had gotten better with is walking, becoming more agile. With this time, he had time to think over his past, about Pelicancall and his former love interest Honeyblossom.
After moons of being caught in the building by twolegs, he'd finally had a chance to escape, a Twoleg left the cage open, and he managed to flee. Unlike Fawnstar he'd managed to escape the building, and was finally safe to head back to RatClan. So he did.
When the tom got back to RatClan, much had changed, They had no RatClan trap masters, Hawkstar was no longer the leader, but rather Oakstar. He also heard that Pelicancall, Honeyblossom and most of their kits had been lost. It hit him hard, but he knew he'd need to step up as the new trapmaster, knowing he was the only one within the clan with even the smallest about of knowledge about the rank.
He hoped that Oakstar and RatClan would accept him back and to help the clan.
