Kaiumi is a half human/half yokai young man who is quite an odd individual. He's often associated with the Kraken so his friends or people who only hear rumors about him call him Raken or Ken. A lot of people don't know his real name. He can be quite outgoing but his odd appearance and eccentric behavior often keeps people away. He pals around with shady people especially local gangs and yakuza, doing odd jobs for cash. Been arrested many times for petty charges but somehow still out. He can be quite deadly if he feels threatened. Might be a little mentally unstable...

Kaiumi was found abandoned by the sea. If someone would have found him any later, he'd have been swept out. Little did anyone know that he was part yokai so he probably wouldn't have drowned. He was raised in different foster homes afterwards but because of his eccentric personality and behavioral problems, he didn't last long. In middle school, he made friends with a local yakuza group and began to work for them for extra cash. Ever since, he's been in the company of shady individuals and feels more comfortable that way. But he freaks even them out. He's pretty fucking messed up.
