Summary
Zakuru was born into the Mirrorkin royal family, second child to King Jai and Queen Zamira. Her childhood was short but wonderful, as she was spoiled by her brother and Kabuto. When the Red Night happened, she was taken to Earth to stay until she came of age. At the time, she lost her memories of her early childhood and her origins. She was eventually adopted and moved to Nagoya.
One day, her family decided to move back to Osaka. Being the new kid in the city and looking so different from everyone made her a prime target for bullying. It got worse when one day she woke up with a pair of cat ears and a tail, but she met Shuhei and Yoko, classmates that seemed just as different as her. They stayed together trying to hide their animal traits and magic from their families. While on a school trip researching a strange phenomon in the area, they met Nobou, who tells them they are from another world called Eden, and that it's time to return home.

Shuhei
Shuhei was one of Zakuru's first real friends. She took the first step once she saw he was different and they clicked due to their introvertedness. Since Shuhei seemed more cool headed, she would often confide in him a lot. They're collective nerdiness made them the best of friends in no time. Though she is unaware of consequences of his coddling.
Yoko
At first, intimidating, Zakuru warmed up to Yoko after she started to lift her up. Being doted on and spoiled by this confident and powerful woman helped her open her shell up a lot more. Finish up the trio, Yoko adds some spice and independence to Zakuru's life just as she starts to experience it.
Nobou
After their parents died, Nobou tried to be both of them and himself for Zakuru. Not only did he train her but he tried to be the big brother he was supposed to be to make up for the 6 years he wasnt there for her. In the beginning he was gentle but very protective, especially once Kabuto came into the picture. Zakuru, not having anyone else connected to her past, became very dependent on him. She viewed him as a brother even before her memories returned to her.
Kabuto
Zakuru was wary of Kabuto due to his friendliness and his over familiarity with her, whilst her memories were still foggy. Nobou's warnings of him didn't help either. Thanks to Yoko's enabling, she grew closer to him, unaware of his huge crush on her. Similar to Yoko, he was the polar opposite to Zakuru, but very tender to her and her problems. It took her awhile to realize her feelings for him, but her concern for his wellbeing was first after he was kidnapped.
