Overview
Hex (Full name Hextall), is a half Clown Demon half - Human living within Grim city. Hex is a tiny little demon trying to find his way within the big demon city, however when the humans start a war to eliminate all demons, it is up to Hex to bring peace to both sides and save demonkind.
Personality
Hex is a kind small timid little clown trying his best to survive a world that was not made for him. He often finds himself running away from his problem rather than facing them head on.

Hex is often described as a timid, shy, half-demon. He is seen as being a worried fearful wimp who, when push comes to shove, is courageous enough to take down an entire army. Often finding himself running away from his problems or taking the beating, rarely standing up for himself. After the destruction of his home district Hex makes a decision to finally stand up for himself and join the rebellion to stop the war between Demons and Humans

Childhood
Although Hex grew up in Grim city, he was initially born in the Human Territory to his Clown demon mother and human father. Hex (named Hextall) would spend the first four years of his life in a small village at the very north of the Human Territory. At four years old Hex would stray away from his more human look and start to grow horns and develop the markings on his face and in his hair. After Hex's demonic transformation his father said he was going to take them on a trip to the human however he instead dumped them off at the demon territory as he was embarrassed and ashamed to be a father to a half demon. Hex and his mother eventually found their way and moved into the Solei (Clown) district of Grim City. From there Hex's mother began to help the little half demon make friends with local kids such as her friends’ children, Jester and Casper. Hex would spend a large part of his childhood hanging out with Casper and Jester as well as attending school with them. When Hex started attending middle school, he would join a friend group containing Casper, Poprock, Roy and Jester. Hex's middle school and high school years weren't his best. He often got picked on for being short and a half-demon. At one point a group of demons captured him and threw him into a human school, almost causing him to be killed. If it was for the hybrid trio noticing him from Poprocks description he likely wouldn't have made it out alive. A few years later at 17 after all of Hex's friends had graduated and left him to fend for himself. The Solei District was attacked by humans and effectively demolished, leaving nothing behind. Not many clown made it out alive. The once colorful and vibrant Solei district was now in ruins. Hex was lucky that he got held up at school and missed the ending of the attack. This caused Hex to transform into his demon form and go on a rampage, but it didn't matter as there was nothing to destroy. The attack on the Solei District would be what inspired Hex to take action when the official war broke out.
Hex would be the last of his friend group to graduate high school. After high school Hex would have a difficult time finding a job due to his half human nature, making him appear weaker than he was. Finally, Roy hired him as a personal assistant at his law firm. Hex would eventually return to the Solei district which was now filled with Human soilders. Posing as a human child lost. He sat and cried on the edge of district until the soilder came close enough for him to attack. He ambushed the soilders transforming into his clown form and taking out as many as he could. Overcome with emotion he turns into his demon form and completely destroys everyone inside of the base. Though it is victory for Hex, reclaiming the clown territory, not running away from conflict and finally being able to control his demon form, he is overcome with sadness as he looks around at all the human he had slaughtered. The humans would see this attack as the demons first strike agaisnt them. Hex would unintentionally start the Second Great War (later named the War of Independance) agaisnt the humans.
During the War
Once in the Human territory Mocha was able to get the group connected with her ex, Princess Nova, who was leading the rebellion against the Human invasion. The main five including Hex, Roy, Mocha, Darius and Nova would establish the first plan to take down the monarchy. With Hex acting as their symbol of peace and unity. That is if he can exist in a world divided, then there is hope for a world where both demons and humans can live together peacefully. Within the first few weeks of forming the rebellion the main five would begin to plan an assassination on the king and crown prince, therefor allowing Nova to take the throne and put an end to the war and right her family's wrongs. During the time of the planning the main five would find Poprock, who was captured, being transported through the Human territory to be sold to the highest bidder. Since the demon gang knew and grew up with him, they sent Hex into the bar to ultimately win the bid, releasing Poprock who would destroy the entire place and free the rest of the demons inside. From there on out Poprock who hesitantly join the rebellion. After having a anrgument outside of the rebellion city of Elgard, Roy accidentally gives up the information that the rebellion was hidng inside the Princess Nova's Royal Castle and that she was infact on the side of the demons. This info would lead the Human Armed Forces to storm the city of Elgard, where they'd capture the main members of the rebellion. Under the impression that Hex is the leader of the rebellion (not Princess Nova), they demand he'd be the one to kill. The humans would take Hex away from the other and decaptiate him, thinking there's no possible way to return from that. Hex's body is thrown back to the rebllion while his head lays on a pole in the front of the castle. Signifing the destruction of the rebellion.
Hex's dead body is recovered by the rebellion and taken back to the rebellion base. Remembering how Hex once healed Roy of all injuries and brought him back from the dead, the group searches for the rumored half clown demon and his demon healer mother, Saffron living in Illridge, Aridam in hopes that they can find him and his mother to helpb bring Hex and the rebellion back to life.

After the War

- Hex is from the Solei district, which is home to most if not all clowns. It is one of the most colorful areas of Grim City with clowns performing in circus' for local demons.
- Though Hex did live with his clown demon mother he also spent a lot of his childhood and teenage years with Jester. He will often regard to her as his sister.
- They attended school with Roy, Casper, Poprock and Jester.
- Male Demons usually are 6'+ however due to being half human Hex is only 5'4" making him one of the shortest demons living in Grim City.
- Like all clown demons Hex has a second demon form apart from his clown transformation.
- After graduation Hex worked as butler/assistant to Roy for his company.
- Hex is named after one of my two favorite NHL Goalies, Ron Hextall. The second being Patrick Roy.
Roy
Hex first met Roy through Casper. Though the pair wouldn't interact too much in school, eventually Hex would be hired as Roy's assistant for his company. The pair would being to develop feelings, though Roy would refuse to admit it, thinking Hex's half-humans status would make him appear weak. This would continue through the rebellion until Roy's actions leaded to Hex's death. Feeling guilty for causing Hex's death Roy would lead the search for Saffron to help being Hex back to life. After Hex is resurrected, Roy would seem to forgo his perception of Hex's half-human status and they would begin dating.
Rosso
Rosso is one of the few rural demons. Hex meets Rosso at 12 through the Hybrid demons who often see him wandering outside trying to sell his families cherries. Rosso would take a liking towards Hex in the later years, however not much would progress past a crush as Hex is too busy in Grim to visit Rosso's Cherry Farm. Though the paur would meet again during the war, Hex not only is dead by the time Rosso joins the rebellion Roy already has already got Hex wrapped around his finger. Rosso would then swallow these feeling and choose to leave it be.
Casper
Hex was introduced to Casper at around 4 when Hex and his mother made their way into the Grim City. The pair would grow up as best friends and start dating when Hex was 14 (Casper 15) but would break up a year later, realizing they may be better as just friends. When hex's mother died Casper was one of the first ones to comfort him and tell him that they must fight back, which would eventually inspire Hex's decision to join the rebellion. Casper and Hex wouldn't meet again until Hex got resurrected as Casper only joined the rebellion after Hex had passed the first time.
Jester
Hex would meet Jester while growing up in the Grim City. Because they both are from the Clown Solei District they would spend a lot of time together often walking to and from school with each other. Since Hex is so small Jester would often act as a protector for him. Making sure nobody would pick on him. When Hex was younger he was often seen hiding behind Jester in fights or when confronted. Since the pair were so close and the same species many of times demons would confuse them for siblings due to small population of clown demons. Though not blood related their bond is resembled that of siblings. Teasing each other, but always having each others back. Hex's refers to Jester as their big sister and Jester often tells everyone he is her little brother.
