He was never considered a problematic kid; he was bright even. Even the teachers praised him for his well performance and made him an example student.
One fateful day, a bunch of students from a different school decided to beat up his friend for reasons Leon himself is not certain of. Leon tried his best to stop the fight but he ended up being dragged to fight as well. His "friend" found the chance and bolted leaving Leon to fend for himself. Left confused and angry, Leon got up and lost control of himself. He fought back with all his might and won.
After he regained his senses, he became rather scared of himself. But mostly on how he actually felt when he beat up those guys; he actually enjoyed it. "Oh, what would one think of a role model student doing such a thing?" was the only question that raced through his mind
But he was too late, a crowd had gathered and witnessed everything. Police reports have been made and Leon was suspended. When the suspension was lifted, he was hoping everyone would treat him the same and not let the fight change anything but unfortunately for him, everyone didn't fancy the same thing. He lost his "friends" as easy as cutting butter with a hot knife. The pressure got to him and he decided to quit school entirely.
"Having my every move being watched is not very healthy," he would mumble to himself sometimes. Even so, he still manages to sneak out to grab hold of the privacy that had been stolen from him.
He usually spends his free time hiding from the public with his head covered in a hood so nobody would recognize him. One day, he arrives at his usual free spot to find a vermilion-themed young man standing there standing out like a stick on a flat surface. After consideration, he decided to go for it and approach the man to ask for his spot back but the aura "Vermilion" gave off intimidated him and he accidentally sounded like he was asking for a friend.
Much to his surprise, the boy spoke extremely elementary Japanese . He got nervous easily when Leon asked him questions too and Leon automatically assumed that he was a tourist that got separated from his tour guide. After listening to his grammatically horrible story, Leon learned that the boy got lost in search for a store and just moved from England a few weeks back. After a good laugh, Leon decided to call off the act and spoke to him in fluent English. The boy turned as red as his hair and introduced himself while Leon showed him the way back to his house. They became friends ever since.
Few years later, he applied for enrollment in a public school for a fresh start. During the school opening ceremony, he found himself caught up in a huge mess. Afraid of a replay of his past incident, he tried to ignore any "happenings" and blend himself well within Wakarimasen's circle. Though he's not familiar with the group, their members made him feel welcomed. As there's not much group suits his kind, he decided to join them.
