Summary

Upon her birth, Venus found herself blessed with an unexpected surprise; The element of Love. Her mother and father's love for each other, and for their new children, somehow manifested itself into an element in their final born of the litter. From her father Eisig however, she inherited his Metal element.

From a young age Venus realized that her element of Love wasn't as much of a blessing as her parents had initially thought. Before she realized she was doing it, she used her element when interacting with other cubs, and unintentionally influenced their opinion of her so they'd like her. She quickly worked to rectify this problem once she realized she was doing it. It took a lot of work, and it has left her a bit paranoid that other peoples opinions are true or not when she first starts interacting with them. One thing she learned she can do with her Love, is to gently help bolster the mental health of others. She mainly uses this on her mother to help her manage her depression, and the issues alongside that. She only does if asked to do so however, and its fairly taxing on her to do so.

She started working on mastering her Metal later on than what her sister had, simply for the fact that she had to work so hard to reign her Love under control. Regardless, she did start working on it. Alongside Caoi, they started apprenticing under their father. They started off with the basics, and how to find metal to work with. Thankfully, Venus was able to locate metal if it was within a certain distance, so it made finding metal easier. After they mastered the basics, they then had to become stand in tour guides of the Hall while continuing their studies on the stories of the lions remembered within and how to start caring for and upkeeping the sculptures and scenes therein.

Once they had managed that task, Eisig finally taught them how to start working and sculpting the metal into figures and creations, and gave them practice rooms that were out of the normal tour route for them to let their artistic process and creativity to develop. The mark of Venus' work is that her sculptures have precious gems embedded into the faces in place of sculpted eye balls. She gets these precious gems by trading with other lions, both within the pride and without.

Through this trade, she also started making friends with both pride members and nomads alike. She also started eventually accompanying her mother to the Pride whenever she went to try and trade or to just visit. While she enjoys the trips out of the Hall, whether they be for business or pleasure, Venus ultimately prefers the comfort of her close family and the grand creation they've all made and upkeep together.

Venus enjoys the presence of cubs, and adores getting to babysit and play with them. Part of her calls her to have some of her own, but her issues in the past of her Love element makes it hard for her to trust peoples romantic feelings of her. As such, she has intentionally kept herself away from those who have tried to court her in the past and has stayed single. If anyone wants her paw in mateship, they'll have to find a way to convince her that their feelings are genuine, and not a result of her element.

Recently, the family suffered a great loss. Venus and her blood siblings had an adopted sister named Persephone. Seph fit right in, and was deeply loved by the entire family. However, the Scourge took her and hunted her as an initiation. While Venus is usually a happy and caring individual, this recent event has caused her to grow a deep hatred and resentment of the Scourge that manifests itself as anger. These feelings, mixed with the grief of losing her adopted sister, is currently causing Venus some confusion. She'll work through them, as always, with the love and support of her family, but it might be a bumpy ride.
