Kuro is a jujutsu sorcerer whom is part of the Izumi clan and the current holder of the Yin-Yang Curse Techique. Not much is known about the Izumi most details are only known by tge mist strongest of jujutsu sorcerers. Kuro was born was a large amount curse which is needed to use her families signature curse techinque which split the personality into a Yin(female) and a Yang (male) with the male half only manifests when using the Yin-Yang techinque. the Yang can react to the cursed energy around and that can be a problem for Kuro
