Mary herself is a very robotic, emotionless little girl, with a 'no bullshit' attitude towards just about anything and speaks in a low, monotone voice. She won't take your shit lmao. This is due to the amount of medication she has to take, altering her personality and perspective of reality. It started with her older brother (she wears his hoodie, which is why it's larger than her) and mom being killed by their father, who himself struggled with alcohol addiction and perspiration medication addiction. She developed major feelings of depression, anxiety, PTSD and schizophrenia brought on by being raised in a broken home. She now resides in a children's hospital where she is kept and taken care of to the best of the nurse's ability, even though she isn't really hard to take care of. She doesn't play or socialize like the other kids, she seems to mumble to herself and entertain herself alone in her room...or seemingly alone. She has visions of 3 animal characters that keep her company. They are Rex the cat, Bon-Bon the bunny, and Chii-Chii the crow. 

    Rex is the oldest of the crew. He is a black cat from a different realm, with cold fur, 3 eyes and large sharp teeth. He is most malicious and often times cruel towards the 2 other creatures, particularly Chii-Chii, but pays little attention to Mary. She doesn't really know why he hangs around. Maybe it's because she's the only one that can see him. Maybe it's because he wants to pester her and the other creatures. Who knows. She doesn't even really like him much...he reminds her of her father.

    Bon-Bon is the next oldest. She incarnates Mary's favourite animal, rabbits. She is the most tender and compassionate of the bunch, and often tries to keep Rex from bothering Chii too much. She is protective and often frets over the state of Mary and Chii-Chii, but hates Rex. She is always anxiously following around Mary and Rex to make sure neither get into too much trouble. 

    Chii-Chii is the youngest of the trio. He incarnates Mary's brother's favourite animal, the crow. He is in a constant state of fear, paranoia, and anxiety. He is skiddish and terrified of everything, especially Rex, and often hides himself away in his hood and buried in Mary's arms. Mary pampers him even more than Bon-Bon. She doesn't talk much sass towards the trio (she hardly talks sass to anyone, really) but is not afraid to tell Rex to piss off and leave him alone. Mary feels closest to Chii, because he reminds her of her brother.

FACTS TO NOTE:

-she doesn't smile much at all, but if she does, you can see she is missing her 2 front teeth

-loves strawberries. Strawberry anything is her favourite everything (especially cake)

-Chii-Chii's headcannon voice is the Duck from Don't Hug Me, I'm Scared
