they/them

after the death of their mentor, they were appointed the protecter of life. every living thing, they are to watch over and care for. however, when everything started dying, they had to set out to find an answer. eventually, they found their mentors old journal, which had a solution. however, this would curse them. in exchange for life to continue living, they would be drained of theirs. they would crack, and flowers would sprout. and when the hourglass runs out, they will be nothing more than a tree of flowers. they took the deal and after years of cracking and splintering, have finally turned into a gorgeous blossom tree.

They, as the blossom tree, still protect all life, unknowingly. Their conscious is trapped in that tree, the tree is forever wanting to protect, never knowing why.
