Mudpaw is the third brother in the main sibling trio and acts as a sort of mediator for his brothers, who has to constantly listen to them rant about each other. A job he doesn't mind since it keeps him in the loop, especially since he has noticed one of them starting to close off more and more... but he still wishes that they could just be a happy family - including their parents, even if he cares the least about them.
He's one of the few cats who Stonepaw enjoys hanging around. Mudpaw often gives him advice but he is aware that he will never fully understand him, especially since he's the most 'distant' from his family because of his healer duties, a position he was forced into by his parents but has since then grown to like it.

- His eyes are green however the pupils can be drawn with red highlights, something all of the brothers have in common
- He kept the murder of Flickerpaw a secret to protect Stonepaw and is the only cat who knows, despite Stonepaw never admitting to it
- He's tried using his healer abilities to find Flickerpaw in the afterlife, noting her absense
- Even as an apprentice, the clan respects his opinions and ideas. He holds great influence over the clan and leaders seek out him for advice instead of Riverpebble.
