PERSONALITY
Though at first glance Lance may seem like the quiet, reserved type, one will quickly realize that isn't the case. They try their best to be a modest, dependable and generous person, and is generally loved by most. Lance isn't afraid to shower those he cares about with love and affection, always willing to lend their ears or hands during times of need, or quite literally showering them with gifts.
Despite their relatively young age, they have a quite old fashioned taste in humor, doing bits and telling bad puns. Aside from the dad jokes, he is also good with kids, so they always wind up being called the dad friend. Though Lance keeps his composure well in most situations, they get scared very easily by monsters or the paranormal. He's adamant on saying he's just grossed out by them and not scared of them, but everyone knows they're bluffing.
It's hard to see Lance outwardly upset or mad about something, but if it's a serious matter, he won't hesitate to speak out, especially for someone else. However, he tries his best to avoid conflict and keeps confrontations to a minimum. They aren't immune to petty grudges, however. Looking at you Pierre...
When Lance has their mind set on something, he's determined to keep going until they've accomplished it. In his past, because of their hardworking nature, those around Lance would often worry for him. But after settling down in Pelican Town and meeting the townsfolk, he's been slowly learning to relax and take better care of himself.

Lance has always had a love for fishing, and working on the farm feels rewarding for him. Having only lived in the city, he had trouble adjusting to their new life, but steadily grew to adapt to the countryside. Living around nature and being able to work with animals brings great joy in them. Though they still aren't used to warding off monsters in the mines...

Lance and Harvey are happily married and love each other very much. During the day Lance frequently visits Harvey's clinic to talk, but often end up distracting him from his work. Harvey and Lance first met when Lance collapsed in the cave from being attacked by a group of slimes. After that, Lance often visited Harvey's clinic whenever he got hurt, often from them running into a bunch of slimes on purpose. Harvey takes note of this, but doesn't mind. Lance would then start visiting Harvey's clinic just to see him, giving him gifts and growing closer. (after this is basically just the canon romance route for Harvey)

Penny and Lance are very close friends. Lance considers her almost like a younger sister, often giving her advice and comforting her when she needs it. They often visit her trailer to help her out with housework, and plays with Jax and Vincent when she is teaching them. Lance later helps Penny move out of her mother's trailer.
George and Evelyn act basically like Lance's grandparents. Lance slowly gained George's trust overtime, and often visit them to bake with Evelyn.
Lance acts as Alex's parental figure and best friend. Him and his grandparents are almost like a family to Lance. Alex often forces asks Lance to practice gridball with him, and goes fishing together. Lance is always there for Alex as a helping hand or as emotional support.
Leah and Lance are friends and neighbours. Lance sometimes models for her pieces, but they usually just visit to gift her crops and hang out.
Elliott and Lance are well acquainted and sometimes have small talk on the beach when Lance is fishing. Since Lance isn't comfortable with him enough to talk much, they usually listen to him go off about his writing.
Maru and Lance became friends during Lance's frequent visits to Harvey's clinic. They often chat with one another when Harvey is busy in his office. Outside the clinic, Lance loves seeing Maru's new projects and hearing her talk about them. They tend to see each other often since Lance visits the clinic and Robin's shop a lot.
