A family that fishes together also works together!! This trio functions as one whole fishmonger.
Kaito is an older shiji and a single father to his twin daughters; Noriko and Natsuko. He loves them very much, though they run him a bit ragged as he is very content and wishes to live simply while his daughters push him to try to achieve more. Wherever Kaito might be, the twins are not far behind.
Noriko is loud and outgoing, she is very friendly and loves to chat, she specializes in butchering and preparing fish to be sold. Natsuko is just as outgoing and is the main merchant, charming but quick as a whip; she knows what other seller’s prices are at, and more or less runs the whole business side of things. Kaito does his best to keep up, but he does tend to get left behind as he is so low energy. He is very laid back and despite his larger stature a little meek compared to his daughters who have very powerful personalities. His most defining trait is that he is a very doting and protective father, always looking out for his girls. The only point where Kaito is more forceful is when it concerns his daughter or friends. Say one wrong word to Noriko and Natsuko and you'll have a very large, intimidating problem not long after.
Depending on the season they migrate from region to region; living on a modestly sized fishing boat. They have multiple stands around Shengdao that they tend to, but their main three are: Oasis Market, Tianshu, and their small home store in Lifestream Delta. Kaito has a long term friendship with Ilphine, whom his twins are always excited to see whenever they run into her in Tianshu or stop by the Dark Woods. She has been very supportive to them during tough times and Kaito is endlessly thankful that Ilphine has been there when she has.
NOTE: Poissonier (“pah-son-yay”) is another word for fish cook/butcher, I promise that one of the children does not specialize in POISONS LMFAO
