Story:
His father was a halfling while his mother was a dragon. They lived together in a cave in the side of a mountain, and together they had a child named Marsh. Marsh grew up in the cave, never allowed to leave. His mother told him that hunters would do anything to kill their family, espeically Marsh. He didn't get why then.
Years later, a couple of adventurers came and tried to slay Marsh's mother. His father tried to stop them, but they killed him and his mother. When they found marsh, they decided that his wings would cost a fortune, and they cut them off and left Marsh to die in the cave. Marsh lived, but he was homeless and starving. He went to the nearby town, begging and stealing just to survive. One day another group of adventurers found him, a group full of disfigured misfits and oddities. They let him join them, and he's been with them ever since.
