Profile

The young master and next in line heir to the Valdier House.  Rescued from a dirty, abandoned apartment buildingin a slum, alone, starved and clutching the dull and lifeless chest gem of his dead Stareater mother, Aramis was a traumatized child from the start.  His mother had died from a Stareater's disease there in the slums, leaving him to fend for himself at the tender age of six.  At the time, he hadn't realized she had died until he woke up to a horrible smell; her gem fallen out of her chest and cracked there on the floor.  Aramis spent nearly three weeks holed up in that apartment before a complaint from the neighbors brought the Valdier Guard down to investigate the stench.  Altheia, his paternal aunt he would later come to find, recognized the rotting body, and decided that Aramis must have ties to the House's family.  He was formally adopted into the Valdier House the following week.

When he entered the manor, he was a mute little boy who had lost his only family.  As the days, then weeks progressed, he became more violent, with outbursts of hostility towards adults mixed with long periods of silence.  He refused to interact with anyone.  His speech was limited; coarse language mixed with unintelligible words.  Eventually, Benji, Altheia's manservant, suggested introducing him to Pelegro, the old head groundskeeper and gardener who was his mother's father (maternal grandfather).  The old man had shut himself up in the old cottage at the back corner of the manor's grounds after his daughter had gone missing six years earlier and not spoken to anyone since.  Lo and behold, the plan worked and both parties begun to open up once more.  Things were looking bright.

However, not all good things can last forever.  It seemed that Aramis would go on to gain a few of his father's personality traits.  His father was known for being a shallow, egotistical and arrogant man.  Benji was in charge of teaching him all he needed to know for basic, everyday comfortable life, while his aunt Altheia was in charge of training him in military style combat.  As Aramis grew older, he grew less and less interested in swords and weapons, effectively finding every opportunity to avoid his aunt when he could (which was hard since he wasn't allowed to leave the manor).  Aramis was now 18 years old.  He had grown into a young master who was impatient with the servants, tended to be narcissistic when it came to having praise put upon him and was ungrateful and sometimes verbally abusive towards the little Stareater valet he'd been given several years ago.  It made his aunt Altheia where she'd gone wrong in raising him...
