Ding Dong

Go ahead. Go to the bell factory
He/They/It

Since you wanna act like a Ding Dong

Ding Dong is widely considered an anomaly. Once, he was the leader of the Chaos Collective, a group of his own fateful creation filled with friends who wished to see the world uncontrolled by outside forces, namely the gods. He went by Carillon at this time, a play on his "carry on: lifestyle, and a name after the bells for which he formed.

He was made to rest in the Garden of the Gods, a quiet, calming being meant to carry the gentle sound of the wind through his bells. Despite his creation by the gods, they never tended to show much care to their crafts, especially if those crafts seek to overthrow divine rule. Just as the Collective had begun to grow, the gods caught wind and reclaimed their bellmaker, cursing his eye and forcing him to lose what was left of his being, and casting aside each member of the Collective they could find.

His eye is cursed so that each time it rings, anyone in Ding Dong's proximity is immediately forced to have a random thought. This thought could be anything from the memories of someone else, to a consideration of what to have for breakfast. This effects Ding Dong as well, and with nearly every step he takes his bell rings, sending any semblence of coherent thought from his mind. He lives now in ignorant bliss, but is never found in one place for too long. He is no longer a conversationalist.

The further he gets from his eye, the more his own thoughts and memories return. Unfortunately, this also causes him to slowly inch towards death. As he is, he can never willingly do it, and thus someone must take his eye. It has happened a few times as members of the Collective find him again. When he does awaken, despite the pain of his body dying, he finds ultimate peace in the moments where chaos can no longer cloud his mind and he can find his people once more.
