Gust 2-14 (Batch 2, Product 14, GUST line)

Gust 2-14 was an early product in the GUST soldier line, produced by the Second Committee on Hycernia. He was born and raised as a tool; a weapon to fight the intelligent alien lifeforms known as the Egregorians. Records show that he was recalled from the front lines and put into stasis due to insubordination, only to be awoken some 500 years later.

While he was conditioned to be unfeeling and unrelenting in carrying out his orders, he soon displayed a more fragile and easily shaken side to his comrades. He holds a personal vendetta against the defunct Second Committee for making him a "weapon," and projects this hatred onto the current Third Committee, seeing them as untrustworthy for inheriting and attempting to reform a cruel system. He comes to understand that the Egregorians he fought were sapient beings, and soon finds himself working alongside them in a self-destructive attempt of giving them a chance for retribution.  However, through his experiences working with an Egregorian soldier named Terror, he starts to come to terms with his past, and vows to fight so that no one has to be a weapon anymore.

MECHS

GMS "ZERSTÖR" EVEREST: Equipped with a Beam Sword, a jury-rigged "Annihilator" pattern weapon, and a heavy Heatsword. Destroyed in a duel with mech designated as "REGRET." 

HA "VIOLENCE" ENKIDU: Equipped with two Torches and Plasma Talons. Created from salvaging the remains of "REGRET." Decorated with the carapace of Egregorians, which hangs from the frame like gruesome trophies. "Kill you all" is etched into the exterior of the cockpit.

HA "REVELATION" ENKIDU: Second iteration of "Violence."  After Gust recognized that the Egregorians were sapient beings, he buried the carapace and buffed out the etching on the cockpit door. Furthermore, he installed a "Nerve Stimulation System" in his mech, which stimulated Gust's nervous system whenever his mech took damage. 

HA "THE MOON IS CRYING" ENKIDU: Third iteration of "Violence." Equipped with a single Torch, as well as an Egregorian's arm-Scythe (a gift from Terror.) The torch is linked directly with the reactor. Additionally, the mech is equipped with ICHOR-Class coolant and a plasma gauntlet. This mech was effectively destroyed in an intense battle with "The Accumulation." In the intense battle, however, a latent NHP called "Luci" was awoken.

HA "END OF DESIRE, AGAIN" TOKUGAWA: Equipped with 2 sets of Lightning Claws, a reactor-fed Torch, and an Egregorian's arm-Scythe. It additionally has 2 back-mounted arms which carry shields. 

RELATIONSHIPS

Astrid: Astrid and Gust have a close, yet turbulent relationship. Initially starting off as bitter associates, they became closer after Gust began to embrace his humanity. Subconsciously views her as his commanding officer, and trusts her entirely with his life, even if he will argue with her over pointless affairs. Union is a large point of conflict between the two, as Gust cannot separate the actions of SecComm from ThirdComm Respects her resolve for a better future. Probably the closest thing he has to a best friend.

Mugnier: Gust and Mugnier do not have a much of a relationship, as Mugnier tends to avoid Gust. Gust, humorously, thinks him and Mugnier are good friends, and views him as a war buddy. 

Haze: Gust and Haze do not speak often, but Gust, in his own words, "gets an intense sort of feeling from it." Subconsciously avoids getting on it's bad side.

Terror: Initially terrified of them, as they are a soldier Egregorian from the same time as Gust, Gust soon bonded with Terror over their shared experience of being made as a weapon. Terror inspired hope in Gust- that even if he couldn't be more than just a weapon, he could at least choose his own reasons to fight.
