Typically, you would not find an ordinary child at the helm of a major company, nor as a former participant of bringing about the end of the world -- but Cory is no ordinary child. She has lost and regained and lost and regained again, her life being a constant reminder of nothing ever being permanent. It was this that allowed her to shed her conscious to help her mother, a violent goddess, make preparations for the end of the world. However, thanks to the help of five very annoying and very determined heroes, Cory was able to see the error of her ways and help save the world she was so terrified about. She lives every day knowing that things are better -- and yet is haunted by the wrinkles and creases that get deeper on the faces of her loved ones. She isn't ready to say goodbye to anyone. She may never be ready. But she knows that no matter what happens, there are people that certainly love her now, and it's all she needs to keep her soul comforted.
