erisia is a socially awkward and anxious hieress, her ancestor doesnt try to kill her at all and instead keeps her around as an example of the 'perfect' heiress
basically shes just there as a placeholder for next in line with the exception that she wont try and overthrow the current empress. that way another fushia blood wont come around and try to take the throne bc theres already someone in line whos under protection of the empress
shes essentially just allowed to do whatever she wants as long as she behaves the way the empress wants, only hangs out with ppl approved by the empress, and is under constant supervision of the empress's drones
