Daniel was born into a pretty well off family. She despised people assuming her gender based off her name, considering that it’s Daniel and not Daniela. Despite people suggesting her to change the name, Daniel kept her original name as her legal name and still goes by it. Though she prefers if people call her “Danny”. Besides that, Danny grew up to a normal childhood. She was in a family of 5 including herself, and loved to go out with friends and hang out. Her parents weren’t around much in her entire life, but she didn’t hate them for it. They had no choice - their jobs were just too strict. Although she didn’t carry any grudge against them, she tends to rely more on her grandfather. He was indeed the man who fed her and took care of her when her parents couldn’t. They have a bond that cannot be broken, and are still close with each other till this day.

Present

Danny is what you would call a overly passionate workaholic. She spends most of her life working in the emergency room and rarely takes a break to see her friends and family. Yeah they see each other once in a while but it’s only a simple exchange of greetings right before Danny gets called and has to go. The thing that people find odd is that there’s no heartwarming or very inspirational reason on why Danny wanted to become a ER Doctor. For example, some people want to work in the medical field because they might have lost someone, or they looked up and wanted to be like their role model. For Danny, her answer was beyond basic. “I just felt like it”. She has nothing that motivates her to work harder, but she works past her limits and boundaries. It’s as if she thinks that she has to prove herself to someone. That’s also the reason why she often pushes herself away from others and the outside world.

Although her job sounds pretty easy going to some people, except if she makes a mistake and you know, but she deals with much more than you think. Her patients aren’t ordinary patients. Danny deals with a wide range of notorious members of the mafia world. There’s always a new task for her every day.
