Betty Philsbury is the mother of Dallas Philsbury and the owner of a bakery in San Antonio.
Originally from a rural town in Texas, she gave birth to her son at the young age of 14. Betty insisted on keeping the baby and not terminating her pregnancy - which ultimately ended with her getting disowned by her parents. She moved to the city San Antonio with her baby to find opportunity and had to work her way up to be where she is today.
Despite the staggering amount of responsibility she had to take as a child to provide food and shelter for a baby, Betty can be quite reckless when it comes to taking care of herself and her son - forcing Dally to grow up quickly to better support themselves. Betty is a chain smoker and always keeps a six pack in the fridge. But despite her flaws, she's a very wise and down-to-earth person when it counts. Seeing Dally as the only family she has left, she loves him more than anything (even if she could stand to outwardly show it more) and works very hard to support him and give him a good life. Her relationship with her son is a bit rocky, but when push comes to shove, they dearly love each other.
She has been noted by many to be "super sexy" and "extremely hot." Dally hates hearing these kinds of remarks.
Betty loves baking and stress-bakes when something bothers her - a habit that she passed down onto her son.
