Volkov was born and abandoned in Warszawa. His parents aren't known, never have and never will be. He lived in and out of homes until he ran away at 15. Volkov travelled to Belarus, Lithuania, and Latvia until he eventually ended up in Moscow. He picked up Russian relatively quick, and started working as a trucker to transport goods to and from a variety of federal subjects. He eventually decided to ditch that job and became a handy man for a small town in the middle of Siberia. 

Volkov is an enigma. He doesnt know much about his family except for the fact he was given up but he doesnt really care. Rarely he ever says anything to anyone about his personal life. He can speak and read a variety of languages despite the fact he didnt grow up with a proper education. He can fix almost anything despite having no training whatsoever. Volkov lives in a small apartment and owns a tiny newsstand.
