Folmyn
Folmyn is a Rogue/Barbarian Aasimar, he was randomly created using dndbeyond. He's currently a level 4 Rogue and a level 1 barbarian. He's a academic at heart but has some rather unconventional methods for undergoing research.
Folmyn was born to a small family and cared for his elders in the village, they collectively saved up to allow him to study in a prestiged scholarly academy. It was a culture shock at first, but grew into a facination with other communities and traditions. Never having been around people his age he had a hard time to fully connect with his fellow academists and only made a select few close connections, this encouraged him to further explore his studies in anthropology. Though when he studies his person/humanoid of study rarely knows about his presence, and this is how he ended up losing several closes friends. Most find his line of questioning offensive as well, although his perspective is one without judgement.
After being expelled from the academy for endangering the strict safety rules set in place he continued his studies elsewhere, putting his focus on how different cultures lived in different areas, so currently he is travelling, though his eyes are set on a certain race of dragonborn.
