Scully

• The features in her hair are just one big hair clip. It keeps it out of her eyes....sometimes. 

Scully is probably the most laid back person you could meet. She hasn't got a bone in her body that could be mean if she tried. She always seems relaxed, calm, and cool under pressure. She has little desire for drama, and tends to keep to herself. Despite her own demeanor, people who love to seek thrills tend to appeal to her.

She loves things that are 'dark' or 'creepy'. She finds true crime stories fascinating, loves bugs and creepy crawlies, and snakes are the cutest things ever. Halloween is her favorite season, and she can often be found in biker bars listening to heavy metal and talking about the newest horror selection in theaters. She's very into psychology and analyzing why people do the things that they do, something that strongly plays into her love for horror- studying why things scare people or why people would do the things they do in both true crime and movies.

She never condones any harm- she's an absolute pacifist, and her interest in the world of the macabre is purely to understand a realm she can't fathom on her own.

Though she likes dark things- she also enjoys tropical flowers and candles, something she carried from her youth at her small tropical hometown. She loves the smells of citrus and vivid colors just as much as dark ones. 

She can be quite passionate about her likes, especially insects or her favorite metal bands, or even her favorite types of tropical flowers. She is a very upbeat person that can find something positive about almost anyone and any situation she's in. She rarely has the ability to genuinely hate or dislike something.

She loves listening to the stories of the bar patrons around her, and is a great listener.

Scully grew up in a quaint, highly conservative seaside town, where normal was the law of the land. She struggled to cope with a society around her that didn't really understand her morbid fascination with loud music, scary movies, and thrillseeking. They always told her she'd grow out of it- but she never did. She still loves the scary things in life and loves dancing with the shadows of the world around her, intrigued by the dark side of the world. Even if she herself isn't a part of it, things that challenge the normal, boring life she was used to in her quiet town piqued her fascination and she wanted to learn more about it.

She never harbored resentment towards her family's confused mannerisms towards her hobbies, nor towards that of the people who used to live around her. While she certainly doesn't favor their rejection of her likes- she knows that it's out of lack of knowledge rather than malicious intent. 

She spent her younger life online, sharing her interests with like minded people through internet forums and instant messaging, before deciding to move to a larger town up the north shore to be with people she felt understood her. 

As soon as she was old enough, she moved to be nearer a personal friend and got a job at the local beach bar. It captured all the tropical flavor of home, while letting her meet new people and listen to new stories they had to tell.
