• Is referred to by the nickname Alma gives them; Carmen. Since he has no gender, Carmen is referred to as "my older sis", or " my brother" also by Alma. He has no preference and finds it comforting to be a sibling.
• Has the ability to subtly shift their appearance to unnerve others. Most times because he is annoyed and wants to be left alone.
• Because of their enlarged eyes, they take in a lot of information about people's behaviors. This allows them to accurately mimic such behaviors, which also means they can tell when someone is lying to them.
• Their main goal is to take the place of their "copy", so all their energy is reserved for getting through obstacles, such as breaking into enclosed spaces or neutralizing other entities in their way. In the beginning, they start off with no information but accumulate and use it to become clever and deceive the people around them. In the case of this doppelganger, their "Copy" is already within this realm, But a distortion occurred in the transition between this reality and Doppelganger's Heaven (Earth) causing Carmen to not match up precisely with its "Copy"; Red.
• Incredibly quiet when walking. When they talk, their voice is reversed so they inhale air while they talk. Their speech is also comprised of conversations they have analyzed.
• Carmen is very fond of watching TV and listening to the radio. Alma bought him a small handheld radio. (keeps it on his belt loop) He uses this to collect voices and understand catchphrases. As for television, Carmen can't watch the screen usually. Due to his eyes only seeing blue, green, and red pixels that flicker. So he has to watch frame by frame to get the full picture. He personally loves family sitcoms, slasher films, and trashy soap operas. He has no preference for the genre, just finds the drama of it all very interesting. Alma will give him an anime to watch, but he finds the animation confusing as they don't look like real life.
• The sound of teeth grinding can be heard from them when they are waiting or pacing in circles. This is their form of being bored or impatient. If they are resting, he will place himself in a corner to rest his eyes from any other stimuli.
• Other stimuli he stays away from are touching. He spasms and jerks away if other people touch him. He is ok with carrying things if it's really necessary. Sometimes he'll allow Alma to sit on their shoulders.
• Carmen can make other facial expressions, but it's strained and forced. 
• Carmen, on occasion, voices his own thoughts and feelings. Which is something Doppelgangers are not supposed to do. Alma encourages them to build their own identity.
