Brandon had a rough childhood. It already started when he was a small child. Brandon was born in Italy, his mother was a human and his father was a witcher, making Brandon a so-called Nephilim.

Growing up he did not get a lot of love from his parents, as his dad would always work all day and his mother would be drunk or under the influence of drugs, forcing Brandon to lock himself in his room to avoid her beating him up. However, Brandon´s father had saved up some money, which he could use to take Brandon and flee from their miserable situation, leaving behind the abusive woman.

They moved from Italy to a small apartment right outside of New York. They did not have a lot and Brandon´s father struggled to find a good job, but at least Brandon no longer had to lock himself into his room. He also made some friends for the first time in his life. The neighbourhood in which they lived was very poor; however, the kids had a lot of fun playing together. There was one kid though, that didn´t quite fit in. André was his name. Nobody knew where he came from, as he didn´t live in the neighbourhood, yet he was still always around. André was barely 2 years older than Brandon, but they bonded really quickly and would play regularly together, get in trouble together and even have sleep-overs at Brandon´s house if his Dad allowed it.

However, one day, Brandon's Dad was approached by 2 men in a suit and they explained to him, that they are representatives of 'redacted', a crime-fighting organisation. And they wanted Brandon's father to join them because of his powers. From then on, Brandon would be alone most of the time, as his father would be at work. Eventually, they barely ever saw eachother, so Brandon's father made the decision to search a foster home for Brandon, until he had earned enough money to give Brandon an easy life.

<>Brandon's dad didn't know anyone who could take care of Brandon, but when André and Brandon had a sleepover, André overheard the problem and stepped in, offering to ask his parents if they'd take Brandon in.And after a lot of begging, they said yes. So Brandon said goodbye to his Dad, who promised him, he'd pick him up in 2 years.

André and his parentd took Brandon to their home and that´s when his jaw dropped. Andrés parents were rich. Extremely rich. They lived in a really nice neighbourhood. Luckily, the family fell in love with Brandon, as he was a very kind and lovable seven-year old. So Brandon grew up in this new family with 2 older siblings, one being André and the other being his new older sister Camilla.
