Akemi Kurosawa is what most people would consider a "kuudere". She at least gives off those vibes. Not really expressing that much emotion unless it really hits her deep. Along with that, another one of her main traits is her forgetfulness. Her memory is terrible, to the point where she will forget some of the most basic things, such as her own quirk. Yes, she has activated her quirk on herself quite often. Very often you can find reminders on her hands, with stuff such as notes, names, and even greetings!!
Her quirk is something useful, but hard to deal with at the same time. Such as a match and a matchbox, she can strike one part of her body against another part and light up. Thus the name of her quirk "Match" came from. But that isn't all of it. Some other things to note is that her bodily fluids can be used much like gasoline! But don't go putting it in cars, I just mean its flammable. She has various scars from scratching herself too much to activate her quirk.

Akemi was an average girl. Still is. Was always the quiet kid in class that didn't play much with the other kids. When she developed her quirk, kids started to talk to her more. She never appeared as an idol. Just, average. Her family is on the richer side. Her mom owning a business and her dad working for the government, she has her life made for her. You'd think she'd be able to live easily like this and take on her mom's work later in life. But instead, she chose to be a hero. Her reason? Well... She really likes to see people smile. Seeing them smile because of her makes her happy.
Back in elementary school and middle school, she was labeled as a "kuudere" by mostly her male classmates. She normally kept a blank face and didn't really react much to anything. Sometimes the students would trick her with her terrible memory. Some boys would make her think she is their girlfriend and that they just started dating and she doesn't remember. There was one girl who always helped her with it. Always telling the guys to knock it off and telling Akemi that they were lying. That girl gave her the hairstyle she wears everyday! She saw the bald patches on the top of Akemi's head and decided to do her hair and cover it up for her. Akemi sadly doesn't remember this girl...
Once Akemi got into 1-B, more of her emotions were showing. She started to smile a bit more, frown a bit more, but it was progress! She loves the class shes in and everyone in it. Some of them she loves more than others....
