God of balance and mother of two sons, Statera rules over the lands of Varos with a determination to keep the peace. Many years ago, her son Caedes, the god of death, suddenly lashed out and went on a rampage. Statera, with a heavy heart, sealed him away in hell and took over his duties to keep the balance.

Caedes later managed to escape with help from the nightmare demons, managing to build a cult and killing one of Statera's clerics, alerting her of his return. Her and Natus quickly resealed him in hell, Statera crafting a comforting afterlife for her cleric.
