Cosette is an unidentified water-dwelling and inteligent specimen discovered by DR. Finch. She's a sea witch, one who dearly wishes to know what she sings or how she sounds. But she'll never know, being born deaf and having no clue what anything at all sounds like.

She spends a lot of her days exploring the ocean around her and collecting things needed for spells and other practices. Her magic makes her singing voice come out perfectly, but she's nervous of talking normally.

She loves to visit Finch, which is her one and only companion in life. Though they've never labeled if they're in a relationship, she considers them her partner, especially as they spend a lot of their time taking care of her. He's the only person she knows, anyways! Ever since the world became... almost entirely ocean, she hasn't found anyone but him and his science island.

She was born of blood that intends her to eat people, to eat flesh. But despite that hunger and natural instinct, she refuses to. She's not a monster, at least, she hopes.
