Lazarus Blanchet

Lazarus was born into the destructive murder cult “Gordian” run by his mother, the notorious serial killer Amelie Casimir. In the cult, him and his siblings were forced to commit murder to prove themselves worthy. Lazarus killed a man at the age of seven with the assistance of his mother, getting branded directly afterward. A few years after his indoctrination his older sister was accidentally killed by a pair of hunters, leading to the discovery of Gordian. Lazarus and his siblings were spread across France, moved to different hospitals, and eventually adopted.

Lazarus was adopted by a man named Christian Blanchet, a priest terrified of physical touch and violence. Adopting Lazarus was an act of charity and genuine kindness that turned sour when he learned the details of what Lazarus did in the cult. Blanchet became verbally abusive and obsessed with making sure Lazarus wouldn’t hurt anyone else. After an incident between the two Lazarus was sent to a prestigious secondary school in Japan.

Lazarus surrounded himself with regret and guilt knowing he could never fix the mistakes of his childhood. Desperate to push down his own emotions and help others, the man lost himself. Being found by a reporter at his lowest point he was given new life. All he could do in return was offer the woman a job.
