Origin Story:

Fantoche wasn't always a mutated cyclot. In fact, they used to be very plain in appearance, black to white gradient, normal mouth, normal tail, etc...

One day, Fantoche came across a forgotten portal in the middle of nowhere on the Cyclot's home planet, A strange world with Zones, ghosts, and strange beings with cultures unlike the people and humans who've come to their planet. Curiosity gained the best of Fantoche, the young cyclot entering the portal and being transported to the world of OFF.

There, they found two felines, but they looked different than Fantoche. Paws, eyes on their head instead of their mouth, and mouths with nothing but teeth. They never approached the two felines, but rather observed them from afar.

Things were normal in this land for the most part -- very neutral and stagnant save for the spectres. That was, until the Batter arrived.

Fantoche stayed out of sight of anyone from this land except some Elsen (which since they were so numerous, it was hard to avoid) and spectres (who no one seemed to understand their language anyway) as they now observed the Batter on his journey through this strange land.

From Zone 0 onward, Fantoche grew uneasy.

Zone 0, or as Pablo explained it to be a "tutorial" area, was simple enough.

Zone 1 introduced the Elsen and a loudmouthed creature named Dedan who pushed the anxiety-ridden clones around as they worked on gathering meat of all resources, even having a river of this substance. A river of meat and a boat shaped like a duck? How peculiar!

Zone 2 was one of Fantoche's favorites -- a sprawling, multi-storied library with a view. The shopping center and amusement park were also nice, but Fantoche enjoyed reading up on this land's strange customs and legends.

However, this Zone is where the Batter showed no remorse and destroyed Pablo's brother, Valerie, who was possessed by a large bird named Japhet.

Fantoche wanted so badly to console Pablo, but wouldn't allow themselves to approach any of this land's inhabitants who were more sentient than Elsen or spectres.

Zone 3 was boring and bland to Fantoche, nothing but a factory with puzzles. The puzzles were fun, yes, but the copy-paste style of the factory bored this cyclot to tears. They continued to press forward in order to continue observing the Batter.

The Room. What happened in the Room was unforgivable and horrific.

Distraught and scared for their own life, Fantoche bolted backwards through the various purified Zones, going backwards through each until they bade it back to Zone 0 and the portal they came through. Nearly getting caught by Secretaries on their way back to the portal, Fantoche literally took a flying leap to return through the portal to their home world of Alma.

As they emerged, the energies between the two planets changed their appearance to how they were now -- a spiked dragon-like tail, X markings where a normal cat's eyes would be, gradient pupil, fangs in place of their once normal teeth, and paws to match poor Valerie and Pablo's. it wouldn't be until they later interacted with another cyclot that they discovered their hallucinogenic poison abilities.

Scared into silence by what they'd witnessed in a separate land, they stayed far away from other cyclots, roaming the planet as they pleased. It wouldn't be until years later that they'd forgotten just how to interact with other's which explains their strange quirks of mimicking others and riddling speech habits.

This cyclot isn't afraid to hurt anyone, they're just afraid of anything like the Batter hurting them. They're rather friendly when they find someone who catches their eye; it's up to that someone whether or not this silly cyclot is too annoying or just curious enough.

Doll Maker [ Fearful - Owned by STAY-T00NED ] There's something sinister about this cyclot that spooks poor Fantoche...something that reminds them of the Batter. They make sure to stay leagues away from this dangerous creature.

Satellit [ Friends - Owned by SilverLoon ] - Fantoche and Satellit are often seen playing together!


Seraphimus [ Nuisance - Owned by SilverLoon ] - Fantoche is much too animated for Seraphimus' tastes, but Fantoche loves to bother this poor cyclot at any given chance.
