origin

mira [last_name_unknown] is a clone of atsuko from the other side of the dimensional mirror. atsuko had touched the glass out of curiosity, muttering something about how she wanted to at least have a companion to see all this wacky shit with her. the mirror took this as a sort of 'monkey's paw' wish so in turn, using the DNA left on the mirror and atsuko's reflection, it began creating a clone of her on the other side (who we now know as mira). of course atsuko was scared shitless when her 'reflection' was banging on the glass ,so, as any teenager would, she punched the glass to make it stop and ended up shattering the thing, along with a piece of mira's still-forming head. atsuko panicked immediately and fled when mira escaped the now-broken mirror and mira was left on her own to try and dimension hop.

✤ because mira was "born" in between the couch cushions of reality, her birthdate exists outside the bounds of time. for simplicity's sake, everyone just says her birthday is june 16th since that was the day atsuko found the mirror. her creation also caused a major shift from timeline 0 (atsuko's original home) to timeline 0.5 due to her intrusion and status as an anomalous entity not belonging to any place within the parameters of normal space and time.

"born" with the same base traits as atsuko (looks, DNA, personality, etc.) but quickly forged her own persona.

whereabouts

she hops dimensions to find mirror shards frequently. she now works to rebuild the mirror to trap her counterpart on the other side of the glass.
