A lethargic demon who keeps mostly to himself. He doesn't often speak, but is quite sarcastic; people often mistake his sarcasm for seriousness. Malaika is one of the oldest of eight siblings and thus has quite a bit of patience. He chooses to reside in the human world; he finds that watching time pass for humans to be quite grounding.

Due to a vengeful ex-girlfriend; who unfortunately happened to be a witch, Malaika and his twin brother are cursed. Malaika must consume the souls of humans in order to sustain himself. He can survive without this consumption, but he becomes incredibly weak.

There are two ways for Malaika to consume a human soul. All at once, and that energy will sustain him for a few weeks. Or consuming slowly, forming a contract with a human and slowly feeding on their soul in exchange for whatever the human requests.
