basil is a forest dweller who spends the majority of his time sleeping.

he lives in a small cave, and prefers very secluded parts of the woods and meadows that are surrounded by trees.

the only times he will venture out of the woods is to enjoy a small nearby valley completely encircled by high mountains and hills.
