Chickadeewatcher

Much like the chickadee, Chickadeewatcher is not a loud or brazen cat. They blend into the backdrop, and much prefer to keep it that way. Most of their clanmates don't know Chickadeewatcher well, and they don't make much of an effort to change that. They have their family and a handful of friends, and that is all they really need to live a content life.

While all true, a part of this is driven by a fear of loss that underscores their life. Following the abandonment of their nursery parent and a deadly accident in their youth, Chickadeewatcher sometimes has the feeling that they might be the cause of bad things happening. As an adult they have made leaps and bounds in quelling this superstition, but sometimes the question still rises: What if things had been different?

Taking time and reflecting on things helps, as does observation. Chickadeewatcher also tries to busy themself with other things, such as their quest to become a daylight warrior, or their passion for cars. Chickadeewatcher has always been at heart a curious creature, they just need a little extra patience to be allowed to pursue it.

-was cared for/rasied by the warrior glassflower until she decided to leave Chickadeekit and their siblings behind and leave MountainClan with Pennystem and her daughter Moonpaw

-chickadeewatcher's care was taken over by tornface, though they were never quite the same after glassflower left. they blamed themself, in part, for her leaving

-apprenticed to the warrior houndfang

-was attacked by a dog in camp while playing with houndfang's young kit, mothkit. Mothkit was killed, chickadeepaw was maimed, and scoutstar lost a life trying to save them

-recovery was long and difficult, and chickadeepaw was filled with a lot of self doubt

-returned to their training and houndfang helepd them get back on their feet, both mentally and physically

-became besties w fireheart

-named a warrior— chickadeewatcher— for their quiet nature and observational skills

-fought in the gang/bane wars

-confronted fireheart about murder bad

-almost fell through the ice into the little pond during a battle, but was saved by catnipspots

-war was won yay

-eventually made up w fireheart

-felt distanced from the clan during the clan/colony political unrest, was conflicted bc they liked droplet but didn't trust the rest of the colony

-spent a long time tyring to find a housefolk and become a daylight warrior. finally found one and moved into his garage
