Profile
Appearance
- Monk Warforged (Skirmisher model) Gladiator
- Stands at 6'2" with comfortable but straightened posture, boasting an air of humble confidence
- Round, pale gold, opalescent and pupiless eyes
- Once covered in a coat of teal paint over that has chipped over a few years of fighting, revealing scuffed marks of his gray, metal plating. The dark roots revealed beneath his plating and in his joints are a healthy, chocolate brown.
- The base of his "skull" is lined by braided ropes fastened in place to dangle freely by ringlets, resembling hair with a bald top of his head.
- Only been active and conscious for six years, but is no child. Just very new to the world outside of his norm and eager to see it all
- Geometric markings are engraved in his metal plating as later additions to adorn himself
- Clothes: fisherman pants and finger-less leather gloves for traction.
Personality
- Bombastic! Excitable and just wants to see what the world has to offer outside the arena. He's still adjusting to what is acceptable behavior outside of the arena, such as talking playful smack at strangers not always being a welcomed ice breaker.
- All accepting and unassuming, seeing little reason why appearance should matter anywhere but physical prowess and comfort, though as soon as someone turns a fun time into an ego stroke for themselves at the expense of the mood, it's hard to convince him they're not an eternal prick.
- loves a good fight, more often than not making it more of a show than a serious fight, but will shift gears to take it more seriously if need be. It is not uncommon for him to start laughing during a fight with little threats and often encourages his opponent to keep going when he is genuinely enjoying the brawl. Those he remembers most fondly tend to be opponents most interesting to him.
- Very expressive! His mouth does nothing more than open for the duration of his speaking, but his body language more than makes up for his otherwise blank stare, if his incredibly boisterous, clear and almost booming voice did not show it enough.
Backstory
- Built to serve as a difficult opponent for star fighters to go against to rile up the audience in underground pit fights and gladiator arenas. When he began to outshine said fighters and bets were more and more set on him, plus a developing mind of a bombastic and excitable personality, he was repurposed into being a stand-alone gladiator himself. A deep and passionate love for fighting runs through his metaphorical veins as a performance and expression, leading to his fighting always being flashy and elaborate, and soon enough he decorated his self to match. His weapon of choice and everything else from there has been by Zenfor's own design -- including his name.
- They started to travel more, taking their Star Fighter to other rings to run rich off their winnings, but the longer they went the more Zenfor found that he was truly little more than a money maker to them. It was once they started expecting him to deal a finishing blow on his opponents -- an expectation he always outright refused -- that he began contemplating how to escape this caged life.
- It took a few years before he successfully escaped his creators and "managers" to go venture on his own. Now, after running as far as he could for as long as he could bear, he wanders, taking part in what ever fights he can both for fun and coin, all the while quietly keeping a wary eye open for the captors that lost their token to fame and fortune hunting him down.
Extra
- He is very enthusiastic and proud of his means of self expression, however out of everything fashion is not his strong suit and he is unwilling to learn. He is very proud of his bright look and scuffed paint.
