Ohara Kitaro

Quirk Information - REDACTED
Quirk: Starfish Regeneration. Damage to outer limbs (or anywhere in which a vital organ is not stored), can gradually heal back to normal over time. This process can take months depending on severity, but can even heal wounds to skin. Damage done to torso or vital organs will take much longer and can still scar.
Drawbacks: It can take time for wounds/injuries to heal fully, and medical attention could still be needed depending on blood loss or specific damage. Not immune to disease or illness. Drains energy heavily for larger injuries.

Physical Appearance
Ohara has more tanned skin, which is smooth with few scars scattered here and there. He has a couple of beauty marks, one underneath his right eye, the others quite random along his body. His eyes are that of a vibrant purple, whether from contacts or not, it's unknown. He has red hair cut to a medium length on the top, faded into his undercut. He has a particular cowlick that likes to stick up out of his hair, but a bit of gel keeps it down most days.
He is missing two limbs, his left leg up to his hip, and his right arm to his shoulder. He often wears prosthetics when out in public, but at home uses a crutch to get around. Both prosthetics are modified bionics, his own engineering helping out - but mainly being used to add in LED lights and improve movement.

Family Relations
Ohara grew up with his younger sister (17) and his mother (56), his father having left shortly after his younger sister. Lucky for him, he and his father were never really that close. He grew up with a mother that didn't quite care what he did, but gave him quite a bit of attention. He was allowed many freedoms, and was always close to his younger sister. A family that could all be considered friends, especially in how open they are with one another. He doesn't interact much with his extended family anymore.

Backstory
It was a pretty easy life growing up, even if Ohara's family wasn't the most wealthy. They were comfortable, and they made themselves to be. He grew up being allowed quite a bit of freedom, never having a curfew, being allowed to be friends with whomever he so pleased. It was an easy life with nothing too exciting going on, but that's how he was. Ohara wasn't the most interesting person, he wasn't the most popular in school. In fact, he wasn't entirely too well known outside of the kids in his band classes and computer classes. He was only known in those because he excelled, but remained pretty average everywhere else.
It was right after highschool that he, as he would say, "gained any bit of flavor". Two occurances resulted in the outright loss of his quirk, a time where quirk erasure was all the fad with the villians. What better way to test those out than on someone who could quickly show if it worked or not. After the first time time skewed how his arm was healing, the second time did the job for his leg. Kidnapped, beaten, and left bleeding out with pain he hadn't felt in years, those limbs were lost with his quirk. Gaining the information that, had someone gotten to himjust minutes before, he probably would have kept more of his leg drove him near crazy. He developed a hatred for those 'beloved heroes', always seeming to see whast they couldn't do before what they did first and it built resentment.
Now, lucky enough to have enough money, he was able to get higher end prosthetics to help, but time off school, time off work, it changed a lot for him. It was the time waiting to heal that he got into reptiles more as a hobby. Already having a few of the geckos, he fell in love with those he was envious of. Salamanders, all that could regrow their limbs as he used to, and, over time, a gecko that couldn't regrow the one thing it could lose willingly. His collection grew, one full of comfort, which helped get him back into his classes and studies. All of it sparked enough motivation to get back to his normal life, to return to diving into the world of technology and mechanics, giving him enough mental strength to throw a middle finger up at his warranty to make his own changes to both prosthetics.
And, it leads him to where he is now: doing what he can to keep up with his hobbies and his friends while working under someone just trying to make the world of heroes a better place.
