Always on the hunt for some GRAVI-TEA, Jerry Luna is Mahou Wando's go-to radio host for gossip, hazing of guests or bystanders, and other forms of controversial humor. A central figure of the show Late Nights with Luna, his unpredictable antics and comedy are as beloved as they are loathed. His most popular segment is currently Love and Luna, a series in which he rates, berates, and dissects the romantic escapades of guests and celebrities alike. When not making playful jabs, he loves to play clarinet and perform old-style 20's renditions of more modern music.

First famous in the deep reaches of space, Jerry's since set up shop in Mahou Wando due to growing bored by the vastness of the galaxy. Plus the eclectic and strange residents of this magical world make for easy targets! How exciting!

  • Jerry's special ability is called Stardust, which allows him to use cosmic particles to create props, objects, or even small projections of himself--known as his "lunitos" as his backup singers.
  • He came to Mahou Wando on a spaceship, so he is wandless.
  • Jerry originally wanted to be a performer, and is more proud of his clarinet skills than his singing, dancing, or debate skills.
  • His (singing) voice claim is Max Raabe. and he always, always rolls his "r"s. He tends to emphasize (for morons) and clarify points (for stupid dummy idiots) in parenthesis.

I Melt With You - Richard Cheese
⚔️VENUS - Lady Gaga

Location His ship, the La Frutabomba, I.D.S.

Ship Status Horrendously Divorced

Story Status Active [NPC]

  • He has a secondary ability, known as Eclipsing, which assists him in talking over or otherwise taking the spotlight away from others.
  • Jerry is incredibly distrusting of godly entities, celestial bodies, or any woman with a substantial amount of clout.
  • Once a normal man and humble Cuban-American clarinet player just trying to exist in the 1920's, Jericho got his head knocked off by falling space debris! His head replaced with a magical moon rock, he ascended to the stars. No longer wanting to be part of an ensemble, he made a name for himself in interstellar entertainment, and has been a fixture of late night space TV ever since.
  • Jerry can take a lot of jokes and doesn't have a fragile ego. However, he DETESTS anyone that tries to flirt with him and that's the fastest way to absolutely obliterate his sense of humor, aka the sliver of him that one would consider "good natured".
  • He feels inclined to judge the love lives and measure the compatability of others, yet firmly insists that he has no desire for a relationship himself. This can be chalked up to a messy relationship in his past, one that he rarely speaks about.

Biff Babyears
One-sided nemesis thing (baby man baby morals)

Biff Babyears is the no-nonsense straight laced (boring, probably single) space hero that's been shutting down Jerry's radio towers as quickly as Jerry's been able to build them! Well, that was HIS mistake, as now the two are (temporary, bitter) neighbors at the I.D.S. and Jerry has an eye on manipulating Biff's young and (edgy) ward to the dark (funnyman) side.

Howie King
guest host (part time punching bag)

Ah, the ever impressionable greyscale disaster~! Truly a sight (pathetic) to behold! Jerry likes Howie because under that soft (malleable, sponge-like) exterior lies a bitter little guy that can't TAKE any criticism, but boy is he good at dishing it out when he's in a bad mood. He's a fun guest. Dumb (full of tears), but fun.

Venus
ex-wife (die)

There's nothing quite like a woman that grabs your wretched heart, makes it feel again, then proceeds to tear it into pieces, take the kids, and make them hate you. While Jerry was never fond of romance stories before his doomed romance with Venus, it certainly solidified his opinion that he would be better off purging himself of feelings, lest he wind up vulnerable and humilated once again.
