Peryton are a rare sight even in the Academy of Magic, not helping the notoriety that this particular one prefers keeping quiet and to himself, like a shadow, and like a shadow the rumors of the human-eating nature of his species followed him throughout the years in the Academy. The constant alienation didn't help him with social skills, but maybe it drove him to study better, to prove that there's more to him then whatever their ancestors might have done, and the title of one of the youngest masters of lightning does suit his persona rather well.
