Personality

The Bard is a bit of a bastard, and fits the image of his class to a tee. Full of himself and his skills, he boasts about his adventures and stories whenever he gets the chance. He gets himself into trouble often- mostly due to being unable to pay out much of anything he promises. He prefers to live life one day at a time and doesn't have many aspirations. Despite this, he is a devout follower of the Director, a chaotic evil god. He gets along well with all of the other members in the cult.

Background

The Bard has been a part of The Director Cult for much of his adult life. While it never consumed 100% of his time, it was easy to catch him talking about the god in a positive manner. On one particular day he found himself in a bit of a tiffle with an aarakocra, calling on the Director for help. The god (seemingly) answered him and caused the bird folk to dissapear, directly in the view of a young tiefling boy. The kid was amazed by this and asked The Bard how he did it, leading to the quick indoctrination of a 10 year old child into the cult. The Bard and this tiefling spent alot of time together, and the bard taught him how to play the lute and the many wonders of the Director. He found himself getting attached to the demon boy over the next few years despite himself. The kid was talented in music, but The Bard gave himself much of the credit for this.
